A gentle, fragrant curry with tender shredded chicken, soft carrot, peas, and mild spices served over soft brown rice. A wonderful introduction to spiced food — warming but never hot.

Ingredients

Chicken thigh
2 boneless, diced
Carrot
1 large, diced
Peas
4 tbsp
Brown rice
4 tbsp, dry

How to prepare each ingredient for 12 to 17 months

Each line is the preparation guidance for that ingredient at your baby's age, taken from its own food guide.

Chicken
Finely shredded or small soft pieces.
Carrot
Small soft cubes — cook until easily squashed between fingers.
Peas
Squashed or lightly crushed peas — press flat before serving to remove round choking risk.
Brown Rice
Soft, sticky cooked rice — easier for babies to pick up.
