How to prepare peach, age by age
- 6 to 8 months
- Peel, stone, and blend ripe peach to a smooth purée.
- 9 to 11 months
- Soft mash or small peeled pieces.
- 12 to 17 months
- Small diced pieces, skin and stone removed.
- 18 months and over
- Bite-size chunks they can self-feed.
Is peach an allergen?
Peach is not one of the main food allergens. Any new food can cause a reaction the first time it is offered, so give it on its own and stay with your baby while they eat.
Is peach good for babies?
Peaches provide beta-carotene, vitamin C, and potassium to support healthy vision, immunity, and muscle function. Their natural enzymes support gentle digestion. The soft, juicy texture of a ripe peach requires minimal preparation — a quick peel and mash is all you need.
