How to prepare kiwi, age by age

6 to 8 months
Scoop flesh and blend into a smooth purée.
9 to 11 months
Soft diced pieces with skin removed.
12 to 17 months
Small slices — ripe kiwi is soft and safe.
18 months and over
Bite-size pieces including skin if preferred.

Is kiwi an allergen?

Kiwi is not one of the main food allergens. Any new food can cause a reaction the first time it is offered, so give it on its own and stay with your baby while they eat.

Is kiwi good for babies?

Kiwi contains more vitamin C per gram than oranges. Rich in vitamin K, folate, and potassium. Its actinidin enzyme aids protein digestion. The combination of soluble and insoluble fibre supports gut health and regular bowel movements.
